Usually, my projects start with an initial spark or idea that pushes me to create.

in this scenario it was my own cards and the ugly tarot prediction websites!

Then the idea is scribbled in my trusty diary and an initial plan of action is drawn out - user flows, the hero object, etc.

here I first focused on the card design, logo, website name, and rough layout.

After the initial research it was time to define the cards that I was about to use.

I was inspired by the grainy, mystical imagery.

As for the card meanings, I took inspiration from the images and wrote modern-day interpretations for each one. I fed that to Gemini to generate polished copy for all 78 cards.

Now, once I prepared all the ingredients required for the website, I focused on the color palette, Card design and icons.

For the color palette, I decided to go with something cool-toned and neutral that complemented the galaxy aesthetic.

it also allowed the cards to pop more and bring more attention to the card content.

Hand-drawn icons to give that personalized look. I wanted the website to feel polished but still have a human touch.

After establishing the major components, I decided to take it to Claude Code. Connected my Figma MCP and gave the prompt

made changes through prompting

updated the navbar

Removed some info and added reversed card meanings

tweaked the card design a little

The images, fonts, and layout ideas were prompted by me, but no wireframes were given to Claude.

Completely built the About, 404, and Feedback pages using prompts.
